AI Tech & Policy Talks

In order to create a space for interdisciplinary discussions and exchanges on the governance issues raised by artificial intelligence, the Digital Law Center invites UNIGE researchers who are interested in these issues to participate in the first session of AI Tech & Policy Talks to be held online on Thursday, October 29th from 12:15 to 2:00 pm.

During each session, (at least) one presentation will be made by a researcher on a theme related to IA governance, followed by a discussion. Presentations and discussions can be held either in French or English.

The first session of the AI Tech & Policy Talks will feature a presentation by Ana Andrijevic, teaching assistant and doctoral student at the Digital Law Center, on "Artificial Intelligence & Intellectual Property: Challenges and Perspectives" followed by a discussion.

The presentation will be commented by Prof. Slava Voloshynovskiy, Faculty of Science, Computer Science and Centre Universitaire Informatique (CUI), University of Geneva, and Dr. Maria Assunta Cappelli, Centre Universitaire Informatique (CUI), University of Geneva.

This first session will also be an opportunity to informally exchange on the participants' respective activities and projects and on the themes and modalities of the upcoming AI Tech & Policy Talks sessions.
