About
The Geneva IP and Digital Law Alumni & Career Forum is a joint session which is part of both our 2024 WIPO-University of Geneva Intellectual Property Summer School (IPSS) and our Digital Law Summer School (DLSS). The goal of the Forum is to bring together (both in person and virtually) our global community of alumni and to connect it with the 2024 Summer School participants so that students can learn and interact with our alumni.
Distinguished speakers who are all alumni of our Summer Schools will talk about their career path since their participation in our Summer School and discuss how their Summer School has contributed to their professional development and to their activities. They will also present their current IP and Digital Law activities, their insights on substantive IP and Digital Law issues and future challenges.

Mathieu Marchal, current student in advocacy at the University of Geneva, former academic intern at the Swiss Intellectual Property Office, and IPSS summer school alumnus (2022 edition)
"The WIPO-UNIGE Summer School on Intellectual Property is a springboard for your career. Not only is the program vast and varied, but you also get to meet IP professionals (and IP enthusiasts) from all around the world. This is why the alumni event is so important as well!"
Lina Gevorgyan, Brand Safety Consultant at BrandMonitor, former Safety Ecosystem Manager at TikTok, and DLSS summer school alumna (2017 edition)
“The summer of 2017 was life changing for me in many ways, I was studying at the University of Geneva Summer School, when I got an offer for a position at one of the largest regional tech-companies in the world. Then my career took me down a path of working for many years in various technology giants, through many roles, and acquired skills, but it was the summer school that gave me the opportunity to see the huge number of professional paths possible. I'm lucky to take this journey with an open heart and to have enjoyed this path so far."
